🏳️‍⚧️Heard from a variety of healthcare providers in the medical and behavioral health field, as well as valuable lived experience from speakers and round table hosts. Education in the mental healthcare field is a continuous journey, and I’m happy to seek out opportunities like this to further my knowledge and care of youth and adult transgender clients. What learned this weekend was invaluable. Thanks to everyone who was involved in gathering this amazing group of people 🏳️‍⚧️

This symposium is set to be before the International Transgender Day of Visibility on Match 31st, honoring and celebrating the strength, authenticity, and humanity of transgender and nonbinary individuals. 🏳️‍⚧️

Visibility can be powerful. Being seen, affirmed, and safe in one’s identity is deeply connected to healing, belonging, and mental wellness. March 31st is a reminder of the importance of creating spaces — in our communities, our relationships, and in therapy — where people can show up fully as themselves.

At Alpenglow Therapy, we believe every person deserves care that is affirming, respectful, and rooted in dignity. We celebrate trans lives, trans joy, and the courage it takes to live authentically in a world that does not always make that easy.
