Last night, Durango City Council officially proclaimed July as Parks and Recreation Month πŸ’š

This year's National Recreation and Park Association theme, "The Power Of...," highlights the incredible impact parks and recreation have on our communities through the power of play, connection, community, well-being, nature and belonging.

At Durango Parks and Recreation, we're proud to create spaces and programs that bring people together, encourage healthy lifestyles, inspire outdoor adventures, and foster a strong sense of community. From neighborhood parks and trails to recreation programs and community events, we're committed to Enrich Lives Every Day!

Thank you to City Council for recognizing Parks and Recreation Month and celebrating the positive difference parks and recreation make in Durango.
