Kids In Mourning’s purpose is to give kids who have suffered a significant loss in their life a stress free day to go do one of their favorite activities.
Yesterday I met this unbelievably sweet boy James who lost his mother last year and was able to give him a very unexpected gift! He got a new PS4 and a $50 Games stop card! Along with that dinner at his favorite restaurant Applebee's! James was so shy and unsure on what to do for his "day away". His father told me he loved video games and currently had a PS2. Once we knew that info we were positively sure on what to do for sweet James. A BIG thanks the Applebee's for sponsoring James' dinner!
