80 or so years ago, mankind's collective immune systems received a deadly blow. Cannabis, a plant that fueled our evolution in a myriad of ways, was banned from use. The racist, former alcohol prohibition chief Harry Anslinger, conspired with politians and several greedy industrial revolutionist in perpetuating lies and demonizing cannabis. They call it Ma*****na and used fear, moral shaming, lies, and racism to convince the world that this plant had no medical use and posed a dangerous threat. The truth is cannabis/h**p is THE MOST USEFUL NATURAL SUSTAINABLE RESOURCE KNOWN TO MAN!
Before the discovery and use of fossil fuel, h**p oil lamps extended our days, h**p seed flour fed us, h**p fiber clothing, ropes, canvases, and paper constantly touched our lives everyday for thousands of years. Now medical science has revealed that our bodies have evolved receptors in our nervous and immune systems for compounds in cannabis that help requlate nerve signal transmission, our mood, appetite and other functions in the body. Banning this plant has to have weakened our immune systems. Add pollution from burning fossil fuels, growing cotton, and chopping down millions of trees to this, and it's no wonder cancers, viral and bacterial infections and many other malities have increased dramatically. The health of the soil, rivers and oceans all over the world has also been adversely affected. There is no logical reason for banning or regulating this plant that has literally brought us out of the dark ages.
Scientists have been warning us to reduce our carbon foot print for years. and bringing back this plant to it's full potential would not only improve the environment but also will improve our mental and physical health.
We have been lied to about and denied this most abundant natural resource for too long. We must demand an end to cannabis prohibition and all the government regulation and taxation. H**p, when processed properly, can make better fiber, food and raw building material than cotton, corn or trees all from the same plant! Government should make growing h**p as easy to grow as any other crop. Corporations should not be allowed to own patients on it's components. We should not allow governments and corporations to perpetuate the lie that this plant is dangerous. Please share if you agree. Let's take back this plant so it can heal humanity and the planet.

The agricultural infrastructure in this country is built on racism; with genocide and enslavement as its building blocks. Farming is infected not only with racism, but also with classism and capitalism, in such a way that they have determined who owns and has access to farmland (keeping in mind that it is all stolen) and resources. Black farmers only make up 1.3% of producers in this country; the number of Black women owning farms is so small, the last USDA census didn’t even count us. And don’t even think about counting Black women farmers in the cannabis space who own land. Especially here in the south where racism is manufactured and served fresh daily.
