From Durango to the national stage! DHS freshmen Bear Allport and Eddie Harrington put their knowledge to the test at the National Geography Bee in Arlington, Virginia — and delivered an impressive showing.
Bear placed 8th out of 113 competitors in the Junior Varsity Division, earning finalist honors, while Eddie advanced to the semifinals and finished 22nd overall.
Talk about Resilient Risk-Takers and Agile Thinkers in action. Way to represent, Demons! 🌎👏
