I wanted to model it after as a tribute to what I think is one of the most incredible pickin spaces in the entire world and the menagerie of animals that find refuge there every April. It was an honor to work on this poster for The Durango, Cowboy Gathering for their awesome event, the horseback social. This event was designed to unite county and city folks in southern Colorado and celebrate sharing in community and to moving forward past a time of great political and social divisions.
