Coming home today we passed by Botanist and Barrel and I knew I had to swing around for a second look!
The winery itself is absolutely beautiful, with tons of outdoor seating to compliment the gorgeous setting. Everyone I spoke to was happy to help me find the right cider or wine for me. They had a local vegetarian food truck out front (unfortunately we had just stopped for food) and local meats and produce off to the side! Their selection was great, and everything about the place screamed fresh and home made! I got the Basq in the Glory, a traditional farmhouse cider, nice and dry, a bit sour, and incredibly refreshing on this hot day!
I cannot wait until I have more time to stop in and experience all that they have to offer!

That right there is a MAC AND CHEESE BURGER!!! We were in the area checking out some farms, and decided to stop by Town Hall Burger and Beer for some food and drinks! Naturally the second I saw Mac and cheese I knew I had to grab it!
Juicy as hell, with the deep fried Mac and chees exploding in your mouth, this burger is heaven sent! I grabbed Beak & Skiff Apple Orchards 1911 Hard Cider, and it was incredibly refreshing! I love that a portion of the proceeds go back into the LGBTQ community! If you haven't stopped in yet, you definitely should, and don't hesitate with the Mac and cheese burger!

There's a couple places that are an absolute MUST for breakfast food in and Grub Durham is definitely one of them!
The restaurant itself is incredible, a restored and remodeled old gas station, with an absolutely stunning rooftop dining area, it definitely catches the eye as you go by!
Today I only had time to stop in for some food togo, but I got my usual, the Best Bird sandwich, incredibly juicy chicken, maple bacon, pickles, cheese and an egg, all on a home made biscuit! For the vegetarians out there, they have the Wonder Woman Eats Her Veggies sandwich, definitely my next favorite!
Can't wait to take more pictures the next time I dine in, and if you're in the area, stop in and give them a try!
