Brogden is ready to welcome you!

Join us for Open House on Thursday, August 20th, and experience what makes Brogden the Home of the Dragons!

Meet our dedicated teachers and staff, explore the building, learn about classes and extracurricular opportunities, and get everything you need for a successful start to the school year.

Families of 7th and 8th Grade students are invited to attend from 1:00–3:00pm, and 6th Grade families will join us from 5:00–7:00pm. We can't wait to reconnect with our returning Dragons and officially welcome our newest members of the Dragon family.

Summer is officially here, and so are free summer meals for kids! Free meals are available for anyone age 18 or under through July 31 at schools and community locations throughout Durham. ☀️ DPS Summer Hours Begin Today, June 15.

Durham Public Schools will operate on the following summer schedule from June 15 through August 7:

🏢 Central Services
Monday–Thursday | 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

🏫 Elementary & Middle Schools
Monday–Thursday | 8 a.m.–2 p.m.

🎓 High Schools
Monday–Thursday | 9 a.m.–3 p.m.

📅 Please Note:
• All district schools and offices will be closed to the public on Fridays.
• DPS administrative offices will also be closed to the public June 29–July 3.
• Regular operating hours resume August 10.
