Our Triton crew had a fantastic weekend in tryon for Harmon Classics Derby Mania last week! Despite the heat, our riders showed up and showed out and we could not be more proud!!! Thank you to all the Harmon Classics and Tryon staff for putting on such a fun and well managed show every year!!

Nana Folia and Dawson stepped up to the 3’3 junior hunters this weekend and put together some beautiful rounds for some top placings! This pair also returned in the top 20 of the Derby on Friday!

Out of the Balou and Jordan put together some lovely trips in the adults, and put together a great round in the Derby for their first time in the stadium

Isn’t She Something and Penny were stars in the Low Children’s bringing home champion in the equitation, reserve champion in the Hunters, and put together a great derby trip

Semi Charmed Day and Lainey brought home Champion in the Low Children’s equitation, and had a super solid derby trip on Friday.

Just Imagine and Caroline brought home Reserve Champion in both the Low Child hunters and equitation!

Valley Run’s Enzo and Peyton stepped up to the larges and put some great trips together. We are so proud of them!

Woodlands Cruise Control and Kardin also stepped up to the larges and had beautiful trips bringing home some top ribbons in a huge and competitive class!

Kiddin Around and Amelia were Reserve Champion in the Short Stirrup and came home with 6th in the Tadpole Derby, coming in to the handy round leading the class with a classic round score of 90!!

Annie B Good and Sofia were Champion in the Short Stirrup and had a beautiful Tadpole Derby trip getting called back to the handy round in the top 20!

Hidden Springs Hot Fudge and Olivia were super consistent all weekend, putting together some beautiful trips in the Short Stirrup, bringing home some great placings out of a giant group, and put together a lovely derby round.

Finns Up and Kylie brought home Champion in both the Long Stirrup equitation and hunters out of a huge group! They also put together a lovely tadpole derby round.

Casaki SZ and Stella had great trips all weekend in the Long Stirrup and glided around the stadium to produce a beautiful Tadpole Derby round!

Sa’Lynn’s Irish Flair and Zuri put together some super strong rounds in both the Long Stirrup and the Tadpole Derby and we are so proud!

Moulin Rouge and Sylvie glided around the Long Stirrup producing super solid rounds, and put together a beautiful tadpole derby round in the stadium for one of their first derbies!

Daddy’s Paycheck and Emerson were super stars in a giant group of crossrailers, putting together some fantastic trips, and looking cute as can be while doing it (Casey Pony our real life unicorn!)

Knock On Wood WNE and Saylor had their first away show together and learned so much together, and put a lot of great pieces together in the Tadpole Hunters! Unfortunately some yucky Sunday afternoon weather kept them out of the show ring, but we can’t wait to watch this pair back at Tryon next week at the NCHJA Annual!

Woodland’s Chicken Nugget and Penny tried their hand at the Puddle Jumpers this weekend and had a blast learning a new ring! This is a first for both of them, and they did great. They also put together a super solid round in the Tadpole Derby!

Huge congratulations to Peyton Bednaz on her 6th place finish at IEA Nationals in Future Novice on the flat. After a fantastic season, Peyton had 2 beautiful rides at nationals that landed her her 6th place spot, and we could not be more proud!

Huge congratulations to Cafe Americano Z owned by Lauren Liles and piloted by Shep Welles for claiming the top spot in the $1500 Hunt and Go Derby at the SATP Spring show. This young horse is developing so beautifully and we can’t wait to see what the future has in store for him!💙🏆⭐️
