At the 43rd Durham Academy Spring Alumni Reception, the Alumni Board will honor Brendan Bradley ’01 — the multi-hyphenate actor-storyteller-filmmaker-digital content pioneer — as DA’s Distinguished Alumni Award recipient and Robert Wilson — former Middle School dean of students and beloved math teacher — as the Faculty and Staff Legacy Award recipient.
They will be recognized by their peers and colleagues on Friday, April 24, at 5:30 p.m. Congrats to the honorees!

Every year our MarComm team, DA faculty/staff and friends enjoy creating a parody theme for Giving Day — from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off to Geico and State Farm commercials to ESPN’s This is SportsCenter. Our casts and crews are hard at work in the weeks leading up to each series’ debut, scripting, casting, shooting and editing each episode. The characters and cameos make it a ton of fun! We’re lucky to have so much talent (and so many willing participants) in our own DA community, but sometimes we don’t quite nail it.
