Bell Durham ringers added their talents to the Palm Sunday sevice at Duke Chapel 🌿

Join us March 29 through April 5 as we move through the passion, death, and resurrection of Christ with worship services and concerts for Holy Week and Easter. Services this year will be enriched by:

🗣️ Guest preachers, many with ties to Duke Divinity School

🎶 Guest musicians, including the Durham Children's Choir, Bell Durham handbell choir, and Amalgam Brass

🔹 Matthew Rushing, associate artistic director at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and “artist-in-context” at Duke Divinity School, who will dance in three services

Our concert on April 19 with the Choral Society of Durham will feature a rare performance of "The Bells", a setting of the poem by Edgar Allen Poe by David York.

We will employ different types of bells in each movement of the work:
I. Silver Bells
II. Wedding Bells
III. Alarum Bells
IV. Iron Bells
