Duke LEAP

The LEAP study launched a new survey today to follow-up with Duke alumni that have previously completed surveys to gain a better understanding of how college experiences shape beliefs and understanding of science and to inform the evaluation of the LEAP summer mini-course. If you received a survey invitation, we would appreciate it if you could take 15 - 20 minutes to complete the survey and contribute to an NIH-funded study that has helped advance science and improve science education. We are excited to announce that the LEAP study received additional support from the National Institutes of Health to continue research to advance our understanding of how people make decisions about whether and how to participate in science.

This research is being conducted by Drs. Linnenbrink-Garcia at Michigan State University (formerly of Duke University), Rochelle Schwartz-Bloom at Duke University, and Tony Perez at Old Dominion University.
