Healthcare inequality is not limited to low and middle income countries. According to the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University, today in the United States, African American babies die before their first birthday at more than twice the rate of white newborns and African American women die at more than twice the rate of other women during pregnancy and childbirth. Seva Corps stands with Black Lives Matter. Let's bridge this gap so everyone not only has an equal opportunity to survive, but thrive.

To our healthcare professionals, we’d like to thank you for the incredible work you’ve been doing on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. At Seva, we’ve been asking ourselves what we can do to make your lives a little bit easier.
