Our world is a vastly different place than it was just a few short months ago. Between COVID and the uprisings happening across the country, life might feel more challenging and confusing for all of us. Join Exchange Family Center on June 9th for three virtual workshops that will teach parents and caregivers effective techniques for helping kids of all ages navigate our changing world.

All three workshops will be offered via Facebook Live and recordings will be posted on our page for those who aren’t able to attend the live sessions.

Our kids need the support of their communities more than ever to help them process all of the emotions swirling around their developing minds. Attend one or all of the below sessions to learn new tools and strategies!

12pmET: Zulayhka Clemons will teach families how to create a Well Wish Board, a visual aid to help children wish love and care to others - no matter the distance.

3pmET: Mackenzie Hayes will discuss how picture books can help children process their feelings, and why reading them aloud with kids can be an emotionally bonding experience.

7:30pmET: Cynia Black will talk with parents and caregivers about effective discipline strategies for adolescents, including helpful strategies to combat the COVID quarantine and the emotional reactions to the death of George Floyd.
