Court Update ‼️

Yesterday, a Person county judge denied a motion to dismiss the second decree trespassing charge brought against Operation Stop CPS founder Amanda Wallace, despite the fact that the warrant for this charge was invalid by law.

But what we know is that the state is going to protect itself at all costs, even if that means totally disregarding the law when it suits them. The way they’ve handled Kemari’s case from the beginning has been about that—covering up for itself. Yesterday was just another example.

In April 2023, the State Bureau of Investigation secretly indicted Amanda Wallace, founder of Operation Stop CPS. Since then, this case has sat in limbo even though the defense has filed two motions to dismiss this case.

📆 Over 2.5 years.
❌ No court date.
❌ No trial.
❌ No resolution.

Why? Because the process is the punishment. But this must end in 2026!

The Wake County DA needs to either dismiss this case or set it for trial.

The death of 1-year-old Kemari Morgan in the North Carolina foster system has been ruled a homicide by poisoning.

Kemari’s mother, Briauna Morgan, has been left without answers for her son’s death for SEVEN MONTHS. During that time, rather than provide Briauna with information or support, Person County dragged Briauna through hell. They deliberately kept her in the dark, silenced her with a gag order, and criminalized the community members who stood with her. This is how the family policing system treats Black mamas and their babies.
