Happy summer! We will have new shop hours starting tomorrow, Wednesday July 1st. For those who can't see the image, our hours will be the following:

Monday: CLOSED
Tuesday: 10am-3pm
Wednesday: CLOSED
Thursday: 10am-8pm
Friday: CLOSED
Saturday: 10am-3pm
Sunday: CLOSED

We will also be be CLOSED on Saturday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day. Our stitch and spin group hours will remain the same, free and open to everyone as always. We hope you all have a happy and safe summer, we'll see you soon!

Happy Featured Fiber Friday! Today's featured fiber is an excellent cross-season blend from the beloved Blue Sky Fibers: Sweater!

A blend of 55% superwash wool and 45% certified organic cotton, this soft but durable yarn is great for all kinds of projects, from blankets to it's namesake garment, the sweater! It was used to make the adorable, pictured chicken bag which is just too dang cute and even better, it will hold up for a long time and be easy to clean. It's easier to work with than plain cotton but has a greater utility than just plain wool. The best of both worlds!

BSF Sweater is worsted weight with 160 yards per skein and is machine washable for easy care. It also comes in a rainbow of gorgeous colors, many of which we carry. Don't see one you love? Just ask and we'll special order it for you!

We also were finally able to restock our supply of Majacraft bobbins so if you're running low, swing on by to pick some up

We're also having a COMMUNITY YARN SWAP on Saturday 5/30. Please clean out your stash and bring it share. As well, if you have yarn that is soft enough for babies in DK or Worsted, extra size 8 circulars, stitch markers or other notions that you can donate to a customer who teachers African midwives how to knit, it would be much appreciated as well!
