CTS surf rods made for Red Drum. Outer Banks angler had me building his spinning rod and extend the butt of his conventional casting rod. They seem powerful and should fish well.

Rubber Slinger built with split cork grips and corrosion control k frame guides. Wrapped the way they used to look when I was guiding.

The first rod I ever made was for tarpon. I saw it a few years back in a friend’s garage in the keys. These two are an updated version of that rod and what I would like to have in hand when fishing artificial and live baits for tarpon, snook and jacks. These will be fishing the mullet run and tarpon season right around the corner. The rods were made for a 8000 or 10000 class spinning reel and 50 # braid.
