Our friend, Alison took these measurements the other day but they still hold true with the heatwave still in the Midwest!

➡️Be careful when walking your pets. The asphalt and cement can get extremely hot for those paws.

➡️Limit outside time to grassy shaded areas with available water.

➡️If you must walk your pets, walk them in the early morning or late evening when the asphalt has cooled down.
