Tomorrow Clubs

By fourteen, most teenagers have already learned the habits that will shape their future.

In Klipgat, South Africa, many of those habits are learned on the streets, habits that are hard to leave behind. Onthatile was beginning to follow that road, spending time with friends whose days revolved around smoking and choices that promised little for the future.

But God had another story.

When Onthatile walked into a Tomorrow Club teen gathering, he found a place where he belonged. Week after week, he discovered friends who pointed him toward Christ, leaders who believed in him, the hope found in Jesus. Little by little, the streets lost their grip as Christ took hold of his heart.

Today, Onthatile chooses a different path. Instead of wandering the neighborhood looking for somewhere to fit in, he spends his time with a community that is helping him grow in faith and become the young man God created him to be.

No child is beyond the reach of God's grace. Sometimes all it takes is a faithful church that keeps its doors open, leaders who keep showing up, and a teenager willing to walk through the door.

Today, Onthatile is choosing a different path. The streets no longer define his future. Instead, he is growing alongside a local church that continues to point him to Christ.

This is why Tomorrow Clubs exist—not for a moment of inspiration, but for years of faithful discipleship that shape children into lifelong followers of Jesus.
