In my 6 years of experience in the Life Insurance Industry these are three of the biggest mistakes I’ve seen.

1. Not having a Life Insurance Policy.
Most people are either Savers or Spenders. The reality is a lot of us will not save
For Final Expenses/ Funeral Expenses. A Life Insurance Policy will take away that stress and add peace of mind
that when you and/or the breadwinner of your family passes away, your family will not struggle financially.

2. Not getting the right Life Insurance Policy.
Life insurance is not a one size fits all product. Everybody’s Living, Financial, and Budget situation is different.
Yes a 10k Final expense policy will cover all Funeral expenses, but if you have debt, mortgages, and/or a car note, then whoever is left with all of that could possibly lose it all and end up in financial ruin. There a Term policy with a higher coverage will make more sense,

3. Not having an agent that has them in your best interest.
This is important, because if you have the right agent they are your agent for LIFE. They will help you with
All the policies you will need in your lifetime, and also help you to understand the products you actually have.
Most people don’t event know what type of insurance they have and so could end up with the wrong type of policy for them.
