Here we go!

Mexico Juan Lopez is live on ColorRoasters.com in our fresh new bags.  One of our favorite producers from the tiny pueblo of San Pedro Yosotatu.  This coffee is redolent with deep sweetness and a blood orange twang that lifts the cup to greatness.  

So delicious as espresso as well.   We’ve been pulling incredible shots at the cafe for the last couple weeks.

There are tiny few people that have been more integral to the success of me, my brand, and my life than Andy Clark. Andy was an early adopter of Color. They were our first “big” account. Sending them 35 pounds of Primary in 2016 was absolutely monumental for us. As they grew, so did we. Amaza wouldn’t even exist without him for god’s sake!

More than that, though, he was a mentor and a friend. He felt like a free life coach, and I know many people who felt the same. We’re gonna miss you man. We’re going to miss drinking cortados and whiskey with you. I’m gonna miss sending you bags of Walter Penna (his favorite all-time coffee).

The stories of Andy being a champion for the underdog are true. The stories of Andy being an advocate for everyone (except monsanto) are true. The stories of his selflessness are true. It’s all true. What is also true is that he wasn’t taking care of his own darkness and despair. And that truth ended up being the most real and potent of all. Andy, rest in peace my dude. I sure appreciate your work, legacy, and love.
