Recently our Routt County community showed up in a big way at Howelsen Hill in Steamboat Springs. As part of the annual Day of Caring organized by the United Way of the Yampa Valley more than 380 volunteers came together across dozens of projects to support local nonprofits throughout Routt and Moffat counties.

We were especially grateful to have 20 dedicated volunteers supporting The Cycle Effect! Together, they cleaned all 30+ of our bikes, improved van seals, cleaned our vans, organized uniforms, and tackled countless other projects that help keep our program running smoothly.

Their hard work means our bikes are safer, our gear is organized, and our summer programming is set up for success. Days like this are a powerful reminder of what’s possible when a community comes together to support one another.

Thank you to every volunteer, organizer, and community member who made this day possible. We’re proud to be part of a community that cares so deeply and gives so generously.
