We are proud to support financial education in our communities. We recently donated 40 financial literacy books to The Open Book Project in Easley. These books, designed for kindergarten through second grade students, help introduce important money management concepts such as saving, budgeting, goal setting, and making smart financial decisions at an early age.

Steven DeAngelis presented the books on behalf of our bank, helping provide young readers with valuable resources that can build a strong foundation for future financial success.

šŸ“š Nearly 1,500 books…and we’re just getting started!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors and community, almost 1,500 books have been placed into the hands of first-year teachers as they build classroom libraries for their students. We are honored to support educators across Anderson, Greenville, Oconee, and Pickens Counties as they begin their teaching careers.

To all of our first-year teachers: congratulations on the start of this exciting journey! We hope every book you selected inspires a lifelong love of reading in your students.

Our First-Year Teacher Program is available through July 31, so there’s still time for eligible first-year teachers to schedule an appointment and build their classroom library at no cost.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing sponsors for making this program possible. Interested in helping us reach even more teachers? Become a Circle of Champions sponsor or support our mission with a donation.

Please help us spread the word so we can serve as many first-year teachers as possible before July 31. Together, we’re investing in teachers, inspiring young readers, and building stronger communities—one book at a time. ā¤ļøšŸ“–
