Couple of tips:
1) Do not just sign a contract or pay someone. 2)Tarp roof.
3) Be patient as it will take weeks.
4) Don’t file claims for small stuff
5) Trees, no matter where the tree came from, where it lands is where the insurance coverage is. Meaning your tree hits neighbors house then their insurance pays and vice versa
6) Auto- you drive through a puddle, if damage is done it will be at fault accident with collision coverage
7) Auto - tree falls on car or anything else or water rises then that is comprehensive
😎 Store your valuable somewhere safe
9.) Remember patience and it will take time for a claim to go through with all the damage that is happening
10.) Preserve your assets (tarp roof) as it could take up to 2 weeks to get an adjuster
