Great visit today with Ontonagon County Transit (On‑Tran) in the far west of the Upper Peninsula.
Spending time with rural systems like this is always a good reminder of how essential transit is across the UP.
On‑Tran provides countywide, mostly on-demand service—helping people get to work, medical appointments, grocery stores, and more across a large, spread-out area. It’s small, flexible, and for a lot of riders, it’s the only option.
