Nationwide Security Update

On 3/23/2022, Nationwide performed a security change that affects Capital real-time rating. All Nationwide agents using Capital must update their raters to get updated security credentials in for Nationwide real-time rating to continue to function properly. Once the update is complete, Nationwidereal-time rating will work normally.

It’s easy! Just double-click the icon that says Copycap, Evolution Update, or Capital Update, or click on Run Capital Update Now from the Welcome screen of your rater to perform the update.

We revised Frankenmuth Insurance auto rating today to correct some invalid BI and UM CSL limits. All limits should now rate and link correctly.

Attention Nationwide agents:

We've been notified that effective Monday, Nov. 9, Internet Explorer will no longer be supported by Nationwide Policy Center. If you still use Policy Center in Internet Explorer, you will need to switch to Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

Chrome is the preferred browser for Policy Center.

We've resolved an issue involving Progressive not rating LPD coverage in MI.

If you rate Progressive, please update your rater.

We've made revisions to auto rating to correct a flaw which results in being unable to select proper PIP options when importing AL3 files. If you have a management system that uses the AL3 standard to integrate policy information with Capital Rater, such as Strategic Insurance Software Partner system, HawkSoft, Inc., Vertafore's AMS products, Newton by Agency Systems, or Agency Software, Inc. AgencyPro, please update Capital Rater!

We've made several updates and improvements to North American Software Associates Eclipse integration! If you integrate your NASA Eclipse management system with Capital Rater, please run an update to get the latest revisions!

MI PIP Reform updates for Wolverine Mutual Insurance are complete and now available!

Happy MI PIP Reform Day!

At long last, the day is finally here. Going forward, we will continue providing full support for MI PIP Reform with every carrier we work with. Unfortunately, there are a few carriers that have not yet released updates for MI PIP Reform to comparative raters. We are working diligently to coordinate the release of these updates and we expect this work will continue into next week.

We expect to issue an update early next week on the status of those carriers we are still working with to release full support for MI PIP Reform. We do not expect any to be released over the July 4th weekend.

In the meantime, remember to update your Capital Rater to get the latest revisions for MI PIP Reform!
