He has limited ankle range of motion making it difficult to place his heel flat. This causes excessive energy expenditure when walking. We have modified stretching and strength training to accommodate his progressive condition- DMD.
We were not able to get any steps in today because of his fatigue and balance issues, but we hope to overcome his recent walking regression.
