I vividly remember the day that I had that lightbulb moment. I stopped crying. I thought really hard... my mind whizzing.
I had value. I had a voice and I could use it. I was worth more than where I had found myself. Age 33. I decided to speak out. Not only did I speak out for me, but for my children. Not only did I speak out for my children but I began to speak out for those in my community. By age 40 I was running for Parliament and speaking out for those beyond my local area. Being in the newspaper or speaking to reporters was a common occurrence. I’m just me. I didn’t do anything other than to make a decision to speak out.
But it started here. Knowing that I had value. Please, please know, that You have value. Your voice is important. X
