One thing that we offer here at Despatch Junction is fully custom lighting. We recently got this Kato Amtrak P42 #17 in at the shop - The thing about Kato with their stock lighting package they use light tubes. Mike recently went above and beyond for this install! Working Ditch Lights, Individually controlled front and rear headlights, Working Directional Marker Lights, Truck Lights and Number Board lights and to top that off ESU Loksound V5 and dual stereo speakers!

We're pleased to announce the first project in a new generation of HO scale cabooses and freight cars from Bowser!

The Despatch Shops N9 and N9E transfer caboose were Penn Central-era clones of a New York Central conversion program using frames of 40ft boxcars. Over 200 examples of these classes and similar cars combined were built between 1968 and 1969. Penn Central and Conrail era cars could be found all across their respective systems in local freight and other secondary service. The prototypes can still be found today, some still working for their original owner!

Our model features roadname and era specific details, etched-metal grating where applicable, interior detail and lighting, and flashing FRA markers per prototype. Interior and auxilary lighting will be controlled with a magnet wand.
