Hiring a carpenter/well-rounded interior finisher, for bathroom and kitchen renovations in THE LEHIGH VALLEY AREA!
-Must have a valid driver's license and transportation. Great opportunity for someone looking to learn the trade!
-Required to be very reliable and be able to work during the week scheduling 8:30 am -4:30 pm M- F
NO WEEKENDS!

Responsibilities for New Team Member (Carpenter/Handyman)

• Install, maintain, and repair a variety of products, ranging from cabinets to insulation to tile to drywall
• Perform work following safety best practices
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe operating condition
• Document repairs and maintain thorough records
• Cut, shape, and alter materials as needed
• Measure and mark materials for alterations
• Installing wooden structures such as partitions, joists, and stud work
• Installing cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall, and insulation
• Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges, and closures
• Selecting lumber by size & strength to suit each job, sourcing wood as per the customer's budget & style
• Calculating the number of fasteners required for each job
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and other construction professionals
• Reading blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects, and building code recommendations

Qualifications for Carpenter (We are willing to teach what can be taught)
• Creativity and design skills
• Experience in using hand, air, and power tools such as drills, chisels, sanders, saws, and nail guns
• Joinery or cabinet-making skills
• Knowledge of building regulations and codes to be adhered to
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Strong reading, writing, and speaking skills (in English)
• Comfortable using ladders and scaffolding
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
