Meet Francois!

Francois recently joined LATRO in September as a Project Manager. Previously, he was working for our Dubai-based partner Acacia Innovations Technology (AIT), where he served as IoT Business Unit Director, focused on smart agriculture and energy management. He also has experience working for various IoT tech start-ups in the USA and UAE over the last seven years in a variety of roles – product management, project management, and business development with an emphasis on building relationships and driving constructive collaboration among internal and external parties to ensure world-class solution delivery.

Francois isn’t all work though; before he relocated from South Africa to the UAE with his family in 2019, he played acoustic guitar in a band!

Meet Nafees!

Nafees Ahmed Shaikh serves as a Senior Network Engineer on LATRO’s international Network Operations Center (iNOC) based in Mumbai, India. As a part of the iNOC Team, he contributes to the daily Networking and Infrastructure needs for LATRO’s various tools and systems.

Nafees is a highly motivated Network Engineer with 7 years of experience in the IT Industry. With his extensive knowledge in Networking, Servers, and Cloud Computing, he helps keep our infrastructure safe and secure. Additionally, as an L4 KNIME Certified personnel, he shares his knowledge in BI and ETL to assist LATRO’s Technology Business Unit with the development of a new cluster-based Data Analytics Platform.

Nafees holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Mumbai University. This degree facilitates his understanding of the Telecom Industry and further helps him in contributing to beating fraud.
