Todays update.

We got back on the van today to try to figure out what the issue was. This was all free to the customer because its not his fault that I didn't do it right the first time. We pulled all the plugs, reset timing at TDC, it was off, then put everything back together. It took small adjustments and the motor came to life!! Got oil pressure was the next good thing. We topped off all the fluids after the coolant burped. We set timing and then drove the van out of the shop. Seemed to do really good and motor is strong. Im just glad I got this figured out and can now deliver it back to the customer.

Since there is no rest for the weary, we started the next project. My air compressor developed a hole in it so we bought a used market place one to swap out tanks. While doing this I realized the motor/pump bases were different. We figured out a solution for that problem, but broke a part on the pressure switch so we have to order a new one. Be tomorrow before we can test out our "new" set up.

We also ordered a new starter for the excursion which will be in friday at some point. Hopefully this fixes our hard start issue on it.

Todays update.

Got everything on the motor buttoned up and installed. Added fluid to everything and were pretty much ready to turn the key and get life back in this thing. We are only missing the filler hose to be able to install the fuel tank and install the new fuel filter. Once thats done we can add fuel and get this thing done.

Been crazy last week with person stuff going on. But think were finally past that now.

Delivered the Colorado last Sunday.

Got the motor back for the van so we got th3 van pulled back into the shop today. Dropped the fuel tank to replace it and pulled the fuel sending. Need to order that and then we can put that in the new tank and get everything back in.

Thanks to space coast speed and customs for getting the motor back to us quickly.

Next plan is to remove the transmission out to enable the motor install.
