I personally want to thank everybody for the last 5 weeks at the store The weekend sales went so well! I could not believe 18 storage lockers or stuff went out plus two estate sale clean outs plus my three car garage got empty as well! What an amazing journey it has been. You the community my customers people that donated the people that bought stuff you all are amazing! And I just wanted to put out a post to show my gratitude. We're going to be closed for the next week. Tuesday July 14th at 9:00 a.m. we will reopen the store for our normal business hours of Tuesday through Friday 9:00 to 5:00. We are very grateful for all the kindness and support that was shown to us over these last five weeks! I really enjoyed the long lines in the morning when I came in and how everyone was laughing and joking and having a good time we did the last 5 weeks sale not one incident not one! So until July 14th to Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. may God bless you all and we'll see you then because it's time for me to go on my yearly vacation with my beautiful wife for the week.

Bonafide Thrift Store is stocked for Friday July 3rd. Everything is $3 storewide. Nothing held back. Then we will restock and Saturday July 4th everything is $2. Sunday July 5th is $1. This is the last weekend for this sale until next year. Doors open at 9 am and we are scheduled to stay open until 5 pm or until supplies run out. Tuesday July 13th we will resume our normal business hours of Tuesday through Saturday 9:00 to 5:00. We will be closed July 6th through the 12th to restock the store and its entirety to prepare for opening the store back up July 13th normal business hours. This weekend July 3rd,4th and 5th will be the last weekend $3, $2 and $1 dollar sale. I am down from 19 storage units to two storage units of Furniture. We emptied and filled the store over 9 times last weekend.
So come on in and take advantage this weekend of the sale prices. We will be open all three days 9am to 5pm or when stock runs out.
The team at Bonafide Thrift store wants to sincerely thank you for the absolute support we have received over the last four weeks. We emptied and refilled the store at least 6 times a weekend for four weeks in a row.
July 6th through the 13th we will be closed at Bonafide to completely redo the store with all new inventory. So, Tuesday July 14th we will go back to being open our normal business hours again of Tuesday through Saturday 9am to 5 pm. And starting July 14th, we will also be accepting children's clothes and school supplies for the big back to school bash which is free to everyone the week before school starts. More Information on this will be posted later.
Anyhow I hope to see everyone this weekend for the final 3,2,1, sale for the year.

Good morning everyone! We have a great trailer out front in the parking lot to accept all donations today. Anything you bring in today will be incorporated into the dollar sale tomorrow! Plus the other couple trailer loads I'll get from my storage units. After today's sales we're going to restock the store again for Sunday $1 sale. I have a team member that will be at the trailer all day to assist you in unloading anything. The only thing I ask is please refrain from holiday decor at this point. I really appreciate it as I have nowhere to store it right now until next month.

I was going to wait to write this but I just couldn't get it off my mind yesterday. Having this sale in June which is $2 any item on Saturday and $1 any item on Sunday at Bonafide Thrift Store has been the most humbling and rewarding experience I've had in a very long time. I could tell you stories for days that I've heard over the last two weekends like the young couple that's 19 and 20 years old that lived in a hotel room for 6 months who finally got approved for their first apartment but had nothing to move into their apartment completely redid their entire house for $50 living room bedroom dining area pots pans dishes beds everything and they were so grateful that she literally stood in my store and cried tears of joy! Or I could tell you about the grandmother that came in with a mixture of coins that equaled a dollar and picked up a couch but had no way to get it home so I had my guys delivered to her house at no charge and my guys told me she had no living room nothing to sit on in her house. Or I can keep going with stories or I could tell you the truth and that truth is very simple it is not about profit it is not about making money we forget as we go about our lives that we are dealing human to human. And everybody needs help at some point in their life there isn't a person walking this Earth that hasn't needed help at one time or another. This is been a beautiful eye opening experience for me and it's only 2 weeks into it we're coming up to our third week and I have emptied and filled this store 12 times already. I am very grateful that my little store and the beautiful town of Edgewater is able to make the difference in people's lives because it's certainly has made a difference in mine. This has reminded me on why I actually opened the thrift store because I believe everybody should be able to have access to affordable nice things to make their homes more livable and comfortable. No matter the social income of people because certainly mine has gone up and down through the years. So to everyone that's come out and supported this and has benefited from this thank you because this experience thus far has made me a better person.
