Jersey Relief

Friends and supporters of Jersey Relief we need your help.... this weekend we received OVER 50 applications for assistance. This was just in the past 48 hours. We now have well OVER 100 applications on file. Most of these applications are from families in the Bayshore (many are from Union Beach, Keansburg and Port Monmouth) Many of these families lost everything and just are not getting the help they need. FURNITURE, APPLIANCES AND KITCHENWARE Tops the list, but tools and building supplies are becoming a more common request. Also funds to off set rent and help with security deposits are being requested and gift cards for supermarkets have been asked for. We are also still seeking donations of Cars, Vans, Travel Trailers and RV's. If you know someone who may be able to assist, a business, a person, a government agency or pretty much anyone that will listen and can help, please get in contact with us. WE NEED YOUR HELP.... If people are truly looking to make a difference with their donations and want to know EXACTLY where their hard earned money is going, well here it is!!!! We understand people have been donating money to many different organizations and businesses but think about it, how much of that money is really going to the people and what people is it going to???? Starting Tuesday we will be listing letters and needs right on our website www.JerseyRelief.org from the people that truly need the help along with an adopt a family program. These letters will be listed anonymously as to protect the applicants but are received and reviewed by Jersey Relief so You will know EXACTLY WHERE YOUR MONEY IS GOING... and Be able to see that its making a difference with updates of the progress of these families!!!!
