Every time I see these pictures of Gary R. Alexander I'm reminded of what a real, stand up, tough as hell man is. The man who brought full contact karate to the US and WON it back when gloves were used in the snow and not in the ring. I highly recommend purchasing his book, if for nothing else, to get a glimpse into what true US karate was prior to the customs and actors.
