It’s Tuesday: Packers, Presence, and Preparation

It’s a cloudy, cool start to our Tuesday morning. We are up early, moving around the house as we prepare for a big day—today is the day the packers arrive to begin wrapping up our life here in Oklahoma.

There is a quiet, reflective energy in the air. It’s bittersweet to see our home being packed into boxes, but my heart is full.

We had a wonderful moment yesterday picking up Dad from the airport; it was such a joy to have him arrive safely despite the weather challenges. Having him here as we make this final transition is truly a blessing.

As we get ready to hand over the keys and head toward our new beginning in Florida, I am choosing to stay present. I am noticing the way the cool morning air feels, the quiet rhythm of our family moving together, and the deep gratitude for the three years of memories we’ve built in these rooms.

Even in the middle of transition, there is still room for love, gratitude, and little moments of joy. We may be packing away our things, but we are taking the most important parts—the love, the lessons, and the bonds we’ve strengthened—with us.

Even after we leave, we will leave a piece of our hearts in this house and in the hearts of all that we have encountered.
