Today is National Prescription Take Back Day! PCDFC will not be hosting a Take Back Day event until May 13th from 3pm-6pm at the ECU Brandon Whitten Institute building (831 E Main). However, below are Pontotoc County Drop Box Locations

-Chickasaw Nation Lighthorse Police Department Headquarters at 1130 W. Main, Ada
-Chickasaw Nation Ada Senior Center at 1005 Chamber Loop, Ada
-Chickasaw Nation Medical Center Pharmacy at 1921 Stonecipher Blvd., Ada.
-Chickasaw Nation ReUse center at 2205 North Broadway, Ada
-Allen Police Department at 109 N Memphis St., Allen, Okla.

Prescription drop-offs are accepted during the sites' business hours

Come join us for a Community Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. ECU Brandon Whitten Institute, located at 831 E. Main Street in Ada, Oklahoma. This event provides community members with a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription medications. Local law enforcement partners will be on-site to ensure medications are collected and disposed of securely.

Prescription drug misuse remains a critical public health concern. By participating in Take Back Day, community members can play an important role in preventing medication misuse and protecting their families and community.
