Hot Take: Your favorite color doesn't matter. 😬
Okay let's walk it back a little.
Sure, you can be influenced by your favorite colors when deciding on your brand for your business, but it isn't what matters MOST.
First, you should consider:
🎨 Are the colors you like accessible when used together?
🎨 Do the colors make sense for the industry you work in? (Hint: When building a spa, black and red don't exactly communicate "relaxing oasis.")
🎨 Are the colors too similar to a competitor? (It's okay to have some overlap, but you want to be distinguished enough to avoid confusion!)
Branding should be intentional and taken seriously. It's one of your audience's first impressions with your business, and it does some pretty heavy lifting when it comes to communicating what it is like to work with you.
