Please take the time to read this. I have literally wanted to vomit all morning long after receiving this news. I am having to make a decision yet again that seems to create angst no matter which way I choose. Unfortunately, I am having to make a call to not get peaches today. My driver broke down 55 miles this morning from the corn farm this morning at 7 am. He waited almost 2 hours for Penske repairs then after the repairman left and he was on his way the same exact thing happened. They got him to a Penske location in Little Rock and switched out trucks. He is just now back on his way to the corn farm to get the corn for us and melons for the Martin Family. I was faced with 2 choices today- come home 2 days later with everything and have everyone delayed and frustrated again OR at least come home with something (corn and melons). I chose to come home with something and be there for some.

These last 4 weeks have challenged me for sure. Sometimes I feel Ive made the right calls (today I do) and other times I think we'll I could have done that differently.

As far as the peaches go, I spoke with Peyton and my farm in SC I can still pick up if I head back out on Monday. I hope you can understand that I would like at least 24 hours to think and pray over this decision. Its a lot. I want to fulfill orders, I need to get new location open in 15 days and keep energy and foot on the peddle to current location. Seems like I need like 5 of me calm & collected. Right now , there is one of me and I feel feral and frantic. Here is my offer in the interim. If you ordered peaches, cherries ,plumcots or blueberries and would be willing to turn that into a voucher instead of a refund - I will honor the BOGO voucher and you will get store credit double what you spent on fruit. I feel that is very generous and it is my way of taking ownership of a very difficult fruit run.

If you still choose to ask for a refund , no problem but just know it will take up to 30 days, which is customary for small businesses.

Thank you and I apologize yet again for something way beyond my control. Negative, hateful or berating messages will be deleted. I am in the trenches and I am slugging it out. There is nothing more I can do or say.
