The Oklahoma Corporation Commission approved a natural gas vehicle (NGV) rebate program for Oklahoma Natural Gas. Rebates will be funded through a 25-cent surcharge on each gallon of CNG sold at all public CNG dispensers owned and operated by Oklahoma Natural Gas.

Oklahoma Natural Gas Service offers rebates to eligible customers for the purchase of dedicated, bi-fueled natural gas vehicles and residential CNG fueling systems. Rebate amounts will not exceed the purchase price of the vehicle or home-refueling unit.

Natural Gas Vehicle Rebate Program

Up to $5,000 - Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles

Class 1: Defined as a small pickup, car, van and SUV, 6,000 lbs or less
Class 2: Defined as a full-size pickup (1/2 ton), step/utility van, minivan, 6,001 to 10,000 lbs.
Up to $10,000 - Class 3 through Class 8 vehicles

Class 3: Defined as heavy duty pickup (3/4 - 1 ton), delivery van, 10,001 to 14,000 lbs.
Class 4 - 8: Defined as step van, beverage truck, school bus, cement mixer, refuse truck, 14,001 lbs. and above
