Got a call by a couple needing a photographer for their wedding. They were given my name by the grooms brother. It was a great day to be shooting a wedding again. It’s been awhile since I’ve watched a couple exchange their vows. I wish Chris and Sheri all the best in their life to come.

Recently took a trip to Sitka, Alaska to do a little fishing. And it was quite the enjoyable trip. I didn’t take my big cameras because, well I was fishing. So I was for all intents and purposes…. Off duty. But on the last day we were out on the boat, I told our skipper that I wanted to take a little detour and get a shot of this lighthouse. It is a privately owned lighthouse that was never a lighthouse. It’s a rental property on a private island. It’s an incredibly beautiful sight to see with the mountains of Baranof Island.
