I got this turquoise focal piece as a gift from my husband before we got married. I was still pretty new in the jewelry making business and he believed in my potential. As a gift, I was granted access to thousands of old stock gems and stones and picked out a hefty bag to take home to work with. Since then, I have sold many pieces, but a handful of cabs were kept aside for something special and this turquoise is one of them.

I started this piece nearly 2 years ago. I worked little by little unsure of what the big picture would be. I’m proud to present the finished product. It’s finally gained it’s wings.

Turquoise, 14k gold and gold-fill, leather, beadwork and wire weaving. A piece of me ready to fly away to a new home.
