About Insania - born from Geoff Tate’s deep love of fine wine and European craftsmanship, Insania began as a collaboration between Tate and winemakers who shared his passion for artistry, balance and expression. Originally produced in Washington State’s acclaimed Columbia Valley, Insania has since found a new home at Rinklin Winery, a family-run estate in Germany’s picturesque Kaiserstuhl region, part of the world-famous Baden wine district.

The Rinklin family has been making wine for generations, combining centuries-old techniques with sustainable, modern practices. Their partnership with Geoff Tate brings together Old-World tradition and New World inspiration — resulting in wines that are elegant, bold, and unmistakably distinctive.
