If you’ve noticed there hasn’t been much sourdough around here lately, there’s a reason.
Sourdough can be… well… finicky. The tiniest change in temperature, timing, or hydration can completely shift the outcome — and lately mine just hasn’t been turning out the way I expect it to.
And if it’s not up to my standard, I won’t sell it. Period.
I’m working on dialing it back in and getting it exactly where it used to be before it returns to the menu. Quality always comes first in this kitchen.
In the meantime, I’m still baking cookies and other goodies — and I’m currently fine-tuning a batch of pretzel bites that I’m VERY excited about 👀🥨
