🔥 Sparks were flying at the Welding Skills Event hosted by Brawley Union High School on April 29, 2026!
Students from Holtville High School, Calipatria High School, and BUHS came together to showcase their welding talents, teamwork, and technical skills in a hands-on competition aligned with industry standards. 🔧👨🏭👩🏭
Participants competed in MIG and stick welding challenges, demonstrated blueprint accuracy and weld quality, and worked together to fabricate a functional rocket stove. Their projects were evaluated by local industry professionals who helped make this experience meaningful and career-connected.
A huge thank you to BHE Renewables for generously donating over $1,000 in welding gear to support student learning and future success! 🙌
