Flinthills Longhorns

These two bulls who are half brothers, and born 4 days apart, were sired by Spoke Zest. (Spokesman son) The black and white bull (All American) measured a hair under 42.25 and it’s all black horn. Just wait until that grows out and his horn growth really takes off. He’s a spitting image of his Daddy but also has greats such as Jamakizm, Texana Van Horne and Drag Iron. It doesn’t get much better than that in a pedigree!!

The Parker brown bull (FH Tenacious) measured 44.25 at 15 months old. His mother is a Chard Iron daughter!!

They stood 3rd and 4th in a class of 20 in Murdo, SD. See them both at HSC!

Why raise longhorns? They have many attributes in this day and age, but their history is truly remarkable!

What better cattle to be celebrated in this country on the 250th anniversary of America!! 🇺🇸 They helped build the cattle industry!

We had the privilege of owning this cow, “ole blue” for a few years before she died back in the early 80’s.
She was born at the Wichita mountain refuge in 1949
and she lived her last few years at Flinthills Longhorns. My dad always said she lived to be 32! That’s some amazing genetics!! 🧬
