Arm circles are a simple way to get your shoulders and upper back moving—especially if you don’t exercise often or spend a lot of time sitting.

Benefits:
• Improves shoulder mobility
• Increases blood flow to the upper body
• Helps reduce stiffness in the upper back
• Prepares your body for movement or workouts

They’re good anytime of the day—in the morning, after a long drive, before and/or after a workout—just a few controlled reps can go a long way. Try 10-20 at a time in each direction.

Try downloading a calorie and nutrient tracking app!

I use MyFitnessPal, but any tracking app will do 🍎

I like my fitness pal because It allows me to:

⁃ Track my meals throughout the day
⁃ Pre-save my go-to meals which makes tracking so much easier
⁃ I can add items one by one if needed
⁃ Keep an eye on my total calories and nutrients
⁃ And make adjustments in real time

The purpose of this is to keep me aware of what I’m eating and help me stay within range of my calorie and protein goals.

Try it out for a few days and see what happens. Even using a notebook or journal to track your food goes along way. It’s more about awareness and making intentional and informed decisions than it is about perfection.
