An extended congratulations goes to our wonderful guest conductors, Gianni Fragoso and UTEP Alum Erick Rios. We would also like to thank and congratulate Javier Marquez for his original composition entitled “Wonderness Journey,” and for trusting our musicianship to bring the music to life! 🤙🧡💙

Aaaanndd a HUGE Texas-sized congratulations goes to 🥁… the Eastwood Clarinet Choir and Mr. Hayden!! ⛏️⬆️ We are so grateful to have shared the stage with such amazing musicians and we can’t wait to make music with you once again! 💙💛

This Wednesday night the UTEP Clarinet Choir has the honor of sharing the stage with our special guests, the Eastwood High School Clarinet Choir! Under the direction of Mr. Robert Hayden, the choir will perform works by Percy Grainger to open the concert, and join the UTEP Clarinet Choir at the very end to perform a medley from the music of The Legend of Zelda! 💙💛

We would like to thank the directors of the Eastwood Band Program, Ben Perez, Robert Hayden, Elijah Ontiveros, and Art Avila for their support on this collaboration with students in our community!

Albert is a graduate from El Paso High School 🧡🖤 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education! 🎶
