**Update: Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, and Liraglutide**

As of February 21, 2025, the FDA has determined that Semaglutide is no longer in shortage (a shortage occurs when supply is insufficient to meet prescription demand, allowing compound pharmacies to produce the medication). However, a 60-day grace period remains in place, permitting the compounding of Semaglutide until April 22, 2025.

If you medically qualify, you can still receive a prescription for the brand-name medication, such as Wegovy or Zepbound, and in some cases, insurance may cover it for certain chronic conditions.
