This week, El Reno Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 151 President Varner had the honor of escorting the family of Sergeant Thomas Duran (Kirsten and their children) to Washington, D.C. for National Police Week as Sergeant Duran’s name was officially placed on the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Wall.

Throughout the week, they have joined thousands from across the country in remembering and honoring the lives of fallen officers and the sacrifices made by their families. Tomorrow, Sergeant Duran will also be honored during the National Memorial Service alongside heroes from across the nation.

Sergeant Duran will never be forgotten by his brothers and sisters in law enforcement, nor by the community he served. Please continue to keep Kirsten, their children and the entire Duran family in your thoughts and prayers during this meaningful and emotional time.
